Quick Service POS Support Analysts/Trainers

Seeking individuals with quick service restaurant management experience and technical background to deploy and support our POS Systems.  This position provides telephone support, system staging, troubleshooting and on-site training services to our nationwide network of customers.

In addition to knowledge of restaurant management, the ideal candidates will have Windows PC, network and POS experience.  The candidate should possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude with good problem solving skills.  Overnight travel required.

Quick Service Help Desk Analyst

Help Desk Analysts diagnose and resolve POS hardware and software problems via telephone and remote connection for our Quick Service customers located across the US, Aruba, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

You’ll need to the ability to deal with customers and maintain appropriate communication with them over the phone or via email. You should be a sharp listener, with creative questioning and good note-taking skills which are needed to gain a clear understanding of the software application and needs, in order to provide an effective solution.

Your background in the quick service industry and/or help desk would be a plus.  If you know and like the Quick Service industry but want to get out of the everyday restaurant tasks, this might be the career for you.

QS Support Analysts diagnose and resolve POS hardware and software problems via telephone and remote connection.  They respond to and resolve support calls from customers in the Houston/Dallas areas in a timely manner; meet assigned targets for daily/weekly call resolutions and provide overall troubleshooting on POS system hardware and network connectivity.

Remote Field Service Technician (Worcester/central MA)

Working from their homes, Remote Field Service Technicians are dispatched to supermarkets and fast food restaurants to diagnose, repair or replace components to keep POS (Point-Of-Sale) systems running smoothly.

A background in field service with PCs or networking is desired while experience with POS systems would be a plus.  Training would take place at our Syracuse, NY office for several weeks before you would run calls on your own.  You must be able to work independently with the knowledge that support and assistance is always available.  Most importantly, a dedication to superior customer service is required.

PC/POS Technician

As a Field/Bench Technician, your responsibilities will be to both complete field service work on the POS systems we install and to complete bench repairs on equipment shipped to our offices from across the US.  You will need to diagnose and repair or replace components on systems on-site and handle PC and component repairs in-house.

You must be able to perform electronic equipment repair in a field and bench environment, have a working knowledge of PC components and understand the critical nature of the POS systems we service. In addition, you must have the ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge, have a dedication to customer satisfaction and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, energy and enthusiasm with professional business-like appearance.

You must be able to lift and transport equipment and components (up to 50+ lbs.) to various customer sites for an installation and you must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Practical, on-the-job, electronic repair and PC/networking experience is desired.
