Update on the Panasonic 9000 Posted on September 15, 2000 In a previous story we featured the new Panasonic 9000 terminal with P.O.W.E.R. software. Since the 9000 with P.O.W.E.R. software is a new offering and the Panasonic 7500 has been in the market for over 7 years, DUMAC has made strides to ensure a seamless integration of the 9000 in the Panasonic community. DUMAC has authored several programs to enhance the 9000 terminal with P.O.W.E.R. and the 7500 product lines. Listed below are some examples: Labor Scheduling and Sales Forecasting Enhanced Inventory Reporting Food Vendor Interface for Price Changes and Database Maintenance Corporate broadcast for system wide Database maintenance Corporate Consolidation - for operators with multiple locations Payroll Interface (ADP, Great Plains, PayChek) G/L Interface (ACCPAC, Great Plains) DUMAC has worked with both Panasonic and our own customers to streamline these releases. Future offerings will include: Corporate consolidation over the internet (to reduce long distance telephone expense) Corporate consolidation for operators that own stores running both the 7500 and the 9000.
