Software Test Engineer The Software Tester works with Development to help ensure and improve the quality of software products. Duties include preparing and executing unit testing of Visual Basic.Net Functions and SQL Server Stored Procedures, and ASP.Net web services. Preparing and executing integration testing of Web applications and Desktop applications, including interaction with web services and SQL Server. Functional testing and regression testing as well as writing software defect reports and maintaining logged defects in defect database and maintaining defect status. The selected candidate must understand all facets of software testing, including functional and performance testing; have a thorough understanding of various software development lifecycles; and have an understanding of VB(6 and .NET), JavaScript, SQL, and HTML.
