With the growing number of tools and software applications being added to the Dumac Back Office PC in recent years, it has become much more difficult for restaurant and store managers to learn and use these tools, especially at the same time they are either opening a restaurant and/or learning a new POS system. Dumac has responded to that concern by creating Dumac University (Dumac U.) Training classes are designed for managers and/or owners to learn how to get the most out of the systems and tools available in their back office PCs. In addition, our training sessions "get back to basics" that include cash control and manager functions. Training and Support for DUMAC Customers With the introduction of Dumac U., we now provide more focused training necessary to truly use the tools provided. Initial installations will only include training on system operations, management functions and trouble shooting. The more in-depth training necessary for inventory, advanced time keeping and labor scheduling along with tools and utilities available in Screen Manager will be covered at Dumac U. Attendance at Dumac U. should occur after a manager or owner has used the system for at least 3-4 weeks. While Dumac U. will spend time reviewing the basics, it will also focus on daily and weekly routines. There are 2 options for attending Dumac University: Training completed at DUMAC in Syracuse, NY Training completed at an off-site facility (restaurant office, headquarters, hotel, etc) To sign up, click here and fill in the registration form at least 1 week prior to the scheduled class. You will receive a confirmation email within a couple days. Dumac does reserve the right to limit class size but will hold a class even if only one person is scheduled at least one week in advance. Specialized or customized training that may require more or less days can be quoted upon request.
