User Exits Frequent Buyer Enhancements Return to User Exits Menu Requirements: NCR 2127, release 3.5 (1.01.03) and higher. The NCR 2127 release 3.5 software now offers the following: Minimum purchase limit for frequent buyer, set for the store, not by item Limited quantity discount for frequent buyer, by item Frequent buyer discount on a per pound basis for scaleable items Allows for a 9 digit or 12 digit frequent buyer number. (the 9 digit is what is used in versions prior to 3.5) The PLU description can be printed with the discount amount Use the frequent buyer id as an account number Allow for vendor type frequent buyer discounts The above items have increased the flexibility of the frequent buyer program considerably, but there is still room for improvement. Therefore, DUMAC is now offering the following enhancements to the program: Limited quantity discount for frequent buyer items on a mix / match basis. For example, you want to run a special on Coke products, 3 / 4.00 limit 3. The standard NCR code will let you do this, but it will let you buy 3 coke, 3 diet coke, 3 sprite, etc. Ours will allow the customer to buy 3 coke, or 1 coke, 1 diet coke, 1 sprite. Etc. BOGO and Buy X get Y free type discounting on a mix / match basis with Limited quantity discount ability. We allow for real BOGO pricing on frequent buyer items. The discount is given after they purchase the second item. Allow the frequent buyer card number to use a 40,41,42,44,45,46,47,48,or 49 type card number Use the frequent buyer id as an account number, allowing you to pick the start position and length of the number to be used. Limitations: We do not support the "Would Save" message at the bottom of the receipt (and you can't use NCR's "Would Save" message either for this user exit).
