User Exits You Saved User Exit Return to User Exits Menu Dumac offers a user exit for the NCR 2127 registers, which, when used in conjunction with MEI, which allows you to show your customers just how much they are saving by shopping at your store. This program is designed for those retailers that do not wish to use Frequent Shopper cards, but still want to show their customers the savings they are receiving. The program is setup similar to a frequent shopper program. Program 85 needs to allow for the Alternate Price field. Any item that has a value in the alternate price field that is greater than the value in the regular price field on the register, will indicate a savings for that item of the difference between alternate price and regular price when it is sold. Any item that is setup as a limited quantity discount or as a mix match discount, the savings amount will be included in the savings at the bottom of the receipt. The savings message printed after the item is not a discount and does not change the sales total. This program will not produce any transaction buffer issues like you may see with large orders that have a large number of frequent shopper items. The savings message under each item, and the recap messages at the bottom of the receipt are customized for your particular program. The wording you wish to use will need to be known when your order is placed. This user exit can be merged with any other DUMAC user exit. If you currently have a user exit from another source, we will need to determine the feasibility of merging the two programs.
